Air Genasi Druid
Air Genasi Druid
Seraphyr is a beautiful woman, with exotic sky blue skin, and perpetually billowing cloud white hair. Outside of adventuring she favors light-colored, slinking, flowing clothes, mirroring her innate affinity, and in battle she is commonly garbed in furs and white dragonscale light mail, bearing in hand the woodland staff entrusted to her by high druid Allistar.
While Seraphyr’s worst critics would describe her as cold and uncaring, it would not be a slant to say Seraphyr proves that being ‘good’ is not always being ‘kind.’ Though never cruel, Seraphyr is often aloof and seldom entertains errant behavior. Wise and pragmatic, there is never question of Seraphyr’s benefficient nature, and her friends and family know first hand her genuine loyalty and love.
Birth and Childhood:
Born, the unexpected product of two seemingly human bloodlines, and then relinquished in a decision of blended love and selfishness, Seraphyr grew, from infancy, in the care and tutelage of adopted father High Druid Drakkell Ezcume. Seraphyr, with full knowledge of her adopted nature, so soon as she was old enough to conceive the notion, would regard Drakkell as her true father, maintaining, without exertion, that true family was a measure of spirit. Her love for Drakkell, however, would not be admonishment of her biological parents. Instead, Seraphyr would feel a mixture of indifference, as she could never say she knew them, and a cool gratitude, for leaving her in Drakkell’s world—a world, she felt, offered much more than their’s could provide.
Inextricable from his roll as parent, Drakkell, with occasional aid from a host of druid allies, trained Seraphyr in the Druidic way. As such, father and daughter were known to travel frequently through regions bordering the highlands—a poignant examination of nature’s intensity, with occasional unorthodox visits to city life. Drakkell would maintain, that nature knew no bounds, and existed, though often disguised, distended, and in long-term-survivalist-need-of-redirection, in the heart of invention, which was, in fact, the heart of man, one of nature’s strangest creatures.
As Seraphyr matured, and inevitably Drakkell passed on, though he would never show his advanced age, the regions of Seraphyr’s roamings grew—with Seraphyr seeking deepened knowledge and experience of herself and the world around her. As such, by 21 her father and mentor passed, and by 25 her legendary journey as a brimstone hero would begin.
